divorce in Maryland: Maryland recognizes nofault divorce
where both parties have lived separate and apart without
interruption for 2 years. [Annotated Code of Maryland;
Family Law, Section 7-103].
You must
show the Court that you have continuously lived separate
and apart for a period of two years. This means that the
Court does not require that you prove why the marriage
broke up.
