No Fault Divorce

No-Fault divorce in Maryland: Maryland recognizes no-fault divorce where both parties have lived separate and apart without interruption for 6 Months (Effective Oct.1,2015). [Annotated Code of Maryland; Family Law, Section 7-103].

You must show the Court that you have continuously lived separate and apart for a period of 6 Months. This means that the Court does not require that you prove why the marriage broke up.
